Zoee is an Australian born creative, choreographer, director and movement coach, working across the music, film, tv, theatre, fashion, advertising and community industries.
Movement in many mediums has been the through line in Zoee’s life. She is thrilled to be able to share her passion for the way the body moves and how we can use movement to make an impact - whether that be physically, mentally, emotionally or socially.
Choreography & Movement Direction has led her to work with some pretty cool cats such as Vera Blue, George Alice, Gretta Ray, Motez, Kite String Tangle, Mansionair, Chela, Essie Holt, Boi, Winifred, Jennifer Loveless, Beatrice Lewis, Allipha, Hopium, The Naked Eye, Ryan Downey, George Maple, The Merindas, Hiboux, Montana Sharp, and Dianas.
Zoee’s body of work also extends to ABC Kids, Momentum Energy, C2 Melbourne, Platypus Shoes, Bumble, Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017-2019, Joslin Campaign, “Spring Awakening” The Musical, “Tarzan” The Musical, 'Sunday In The Park With George', Australia’s Got Talent, Neighbours, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, National Basketball League, The Australian Open and commissioned a new work for Scimm Dance Company's 2019 season 'AETHERIUM'.
Zoee's drive is led by her passion to delve into her craft and continuously branch out in pursuit of work that can help make a positive impact on all those experiencing it.
A project Zoee has completed recently was directing and choreographing two short films in collaboration with sustainable and ethical fashion labels Last Layer, Indosole, Corepret, Handsom, Limb The Label, Gabrielle Brown & ENolan.
This field of work aligns with Zoee’s personal choices of living an ethically green lifestyle, practicing veganism and sustainability daily.
Zoee’s work has been recognised across some pretty rad platforms, leading her to receive just a few awards.
Highlights include: ‘Cultural Arts’ Impetus Youth Awards recipient, ‘Emerging Choreographer’ Dance London finalist and received ‘Most Outstanding Choreography’ at Melbourne’s ‘Grounded’.
Zoee received 'Video Choreography of the Year' at Grounded Industry Awards 2019 and 'Best Choreography' at the Seattle International Film Festival 2019. Her latest independent work '4040 Home' is in the final selections for the 2020 Topaz Film Festival & Seventeenth Annual Sans Souci Festival of Cinema.
